Co-founder of Blue Street Ink, Hugo specializes in realism tattoos and brings over 25 years of experience to the industry.

His connection with tattooing began during high school at the age of 16. Passionate about drawing from an early age, he used to create designs for someone without knowing what they were being used for. One day, he saw one of the dragons he had drawn tattooed on someone’s arm and discovered that he had been working for a tattoo artist. Curious about this world, he asked to learn more and began his journey into tattooing.

He was taught how to build his first needle and started tattooing his closest friends as a hobby. In 2009, he opened his first studio in Brazil. Due to life circumstances, he moved to Japan in 2015, where he worked as a welder while continuing to pursue his dream. In 2019, he successfully opened Blue Street Ink.
